In 1999, she entered the Information Technology sector, in the role of Communication Manager at Procom Technology. As a result of the experience accrued in her previous positions, she was asked to take over the role of Marketing Manager in Guinness Italy. Her career continued to develop as she was appointed Product Manager in Freedomland, a new-economy company specialized in Internet television. In 2000, she took up the position of Marketing & Communication Coordinator in Monster Italy, the on-line recruiting portal, managing all B2B and B2C activities in collaboration with the European Headquarters. In November 2001, together with Maurizio Mauri, she founded LBDI (La Boutique Delle Idee).
Maurizio Mauri’s career in the technical and engineering sector began at the Polytechnic University of Milan. During his university studies, he actively collaborated, for approximately 7 years, with the former Department of Topography and Photogrammetry on major civil engineering projects in Italy and abroad, such as Milan Malpensa Airport, the Fiera Milano City Trade Fair pole, and the sewerage scheme of Manchester. Thanks to the high degree of experience accrued, he was involved in the development of the first on-board software applications to be incorporated in measuring devices using electronic distance meters. After the project, he participated in a series of noteworthy collaborations with companies such as Kern, Wild and Hewlett-Packard, acquiring important skills, also as analyst-programmer. Thanks to his experience, he collaborated with the Finzi-Nova-Castellani firm on tracing the foundations of residential complexes from ‘92 to ’94. Subsequently, he joined Harpaceas with the aim of training architects and engineers in the use of the latest-generation CAD-CAM systems and Virtual Reality. In 1998, he was appointed Area Manager of Nemetschek Italy, a German company specialized in CAD design systems. In this period he coordinated a Resource Team dedicated to commercial development and technical assistance. In 2001, he became the co-founder of LBDI. Today, he plays a fundamental role in the agency, dealing with technical consultancy, programming, the development of internet sites and company intranets, and the design of fair booths for the agency’s clients. He also collaborates with the Press Office Accounts to ensure the proper comprehension and drawing up of the technical specifications related to products and standards – a crucial element in B2B communication.
